Imagine being inside a balloon. Not inside the little basket which hangs underneath, but actually inside the balloon itself. Do you see the atmosphere in which the balloon is floating? Do you see the passing clouds, birds flying by, or other aircraft? You cannot see any of that, of course. All you can see is the envelope surrounding you.

That works for me. If the Traveller game in the works actually happens I'm adopting this.
