Nobel land grants

SOC-13
This is an idea for a barons land grant to go with his newly aquired title.

Land grant for a nobel Baron.

A backwater planet, thin atmosphere, no water, 515 residents, main industry is mining zinc and iron ore. A corporation abandoned a solar powered smelter as unprofitable.
Near the smelter is the gem of the planet, a ship scrapyard!
The yard has a few hundred hulls of various types in various states of disassembly.
All of the ship hulls and all but one of the boats have one thing in common, they are unflyable.
The weapon systems have all been removed along with the transponders. Miners have scavenged the lasers for parts to maintain thier mining lasers. The transponders were melted down in the smelter by the corporation .
Stacks of decrepid components are piled in groups on hte side of the yard. Few of these parts are usable.
The yard is guarded by a small family of guard beasts imported from another thin atmosphere planet.

Condition of individual ship systems are determined by rolling on this chart
12 minor wear and tear servicable as is
11 System worn heavy work needed replace 10% of parts
10 System damaged major work needed replace 25% of parts
9 System damaged core unit repairable replace 75% of parts
8 System heavily damaged 25% of parts usable
7 System heavily damaged 10% of parts usable
6 System destroyed no parts usable hull area lightly damaged
5 System removed no parts usable mounting brackets need some work
4 System gone no parts usable hull moderately damaged
3 System gone no parts usable hull heavily damaged
2 System gone no parts usable hull section gone

Number of ships of any specific type in the yard depends on the TL and tonnage.
Roll 1d6 per TL under 15 times 2d6-1%of tonnage for each type of common ship or boat.

To make matters a bit more interesting.
The office containing all documentation for the hulls was destroyed in a fire by disgruntled layed off workers.
Leakage of hazardous fluids has poisoned the ground under the hulls.
Several of the transponders were not destroyed as reported, but were sold to smugglers.

Vegascat, you are sooo evil.

This set-up is so evil it makes me smile and I don't even have a group of players to spring this on. Please post highlights of this setting when it is run. Thanks.
