I have it, but not here... most of my Traveller stuff is in another country (darn). But, IIRC, that adventure was set in the trailing part of the sector, close to Delphi, while Keum is the spinward border. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.Originally posted by T. Foster:
I don't know of any other canonical references to Keum subsector, but then I wouldn't have caught that TNS entry either so you're already a step ahead of me (note to self: add this to file). The adventure in Challenge #47 ("Knights of the Blue Feather") is set in Massilia but I don't have that issue so I don't know if it has any additional canon about Keum subsector or not.
Well, I was not thinking of a book but a booklet in the 16-page range, and I was not thinking of any submission anywhere <shrug>. The reason is that it would make use of the Library Data from Knightfall, so there would be copyright issues (oh, and Chigan Taal in the subsector is a Geonee world, as Rigaal in Shiwonee subsector---Geonee name ending(?), so more issues). Thing is, I ran a campaign in this subsector once, then lost my notes, am toying with an adventure set there (male-chauvinist Geonee traders are very active in Massilia. The Hi-pop, Hi-tech Rebin empire is radically matriarchal. Enter the players as middlemen), and so the booklet.I'd love to see your manuscript for this book. Of course I'd love even more to write this book, but since that's showing no signs of actually happening I'll transfer my enthusiasm to your efforts. One question though: am I correct to assume this "Travellers' Guide" would be a GT submission? While there's more than enough in this subsector to make it interesting even in the GTU I can't help feeling it'll only have a tiny fraction of its adventure potential without the Rebellion.
As for the setting, it would be "dual". 1110-15 with a section on what happened during the rebellion.
