OTU Only: Does anyone know of a Canon Class for Battle Tenders?

So,
I've been searching through my library on the Imperial Navy from all versions of Traveller, and have yet to find any mention of an actual class of Battle Tender.
I did find two classes specified by the "Freelance Traveller". But I have not found any canon classes mentioned or named/described

Am I missing something?

LBB S8, p15-17 ... the 300,000 ton World-class battle tender with a squadron of 5 battle riders has a picture illustration at the top of p16.

So that's ONE ... :sneaky:

"300,000 ton World Class Battle Tender with squadron of five Battle Riders." S:8

"An appeal to the Imperial Navy brought eventual results, and during the fleet exercise of 1104 the million-ton fleet tender Gorodish carried the Empress Troyhune to Rorise in place of one of its Hadrian class battleriders." S:9

"The 154th was equipped with a Lurenti class Battle Carrier (capable of carrying seven Nolikian class Battle Riders) soon after the end of the Fourth Frontier War. Heavily armed and armored, the carrier serves a battle control station as well as a centralized jump drive for the squadron"SMC

TNE Battle Rider Triumph class and Cleon class get counters.

Thank you!
Have you got any data on the Lurenti or Nolikian classes?

I can't seem to find anything more than the mentions you pointed out
I did find a write up of the 154th on line, but what I found does not have any real data on those classes

I correct myself
I found the following:

154th Battle Rider Squadron
Battle Carrier: Lurenti-class Battle Carrier.
BCF Shurduu (Flagship)(Vilani for Strong Hero)
300,000 tons. Jump-4. 2G.

Battle Riders: Nolikian-class Battle Riders.
BR Agu (Vilani for Proud)
BR Iirba (Vilani for Dignified)
BR Lannur (Vilani for Honored)
BR Ledur (Vilani for Fortunate)
BR Lindikir (Vilani for Balanced)
BR Galek (Vilani for Grandiose)
BR Akinnina (Vilani for Deliberate)
20,000 tons. Jump-0. 6G.

Fighter Support: 154th Heavy Fighter Group
Sylean-class Heavy Fighters
50 tons. Jump-0. 6G.
1st Fighter Squadron (Five Flights of
20 Fighters numbered 1 through 20).
2nd Fighter Squadron (Five Flights of
20 Fighters numbered 1 through 20).

Fleet Escorts: Sloan-class Fleet Escorts.
FE Rowley
FE Dickson
FE Palmer
FE Holmes
FE Stewart
FE Warren
FE Baldwin
5,000 tons. Jump-4. 6G

Grand Admiral Plankwell is still remembered and honored for his achievements as a naval commander in the First Frontier War; significantly, his name has not been assigned to any ship in the new Cleon class of battleriders, named for Emperors of the Imperium.

The riders in BR can be reverse engineered to some extent from the counter stats.

Gallant has a honking great meson spinal with great range, can fire twenty lasers per battery (with the number of batteries equal to the absolute value of the size mod, so three batteries). A bunch of missile launchers (the rules and errata are a bit messy about how these work with batteries). It naturally has top of the line fire control, sensors, and masking. Fuel scoops and 6G manoeuvre. Lots of armour (500cm of hard steel equivalent), and an auxiliary bridge. A very strong meson screen, tons of sandcasters, and dampers. Displacement about 36K Dtons.

Admiral has a less exciting meson spinal, plus a powerful and very long ranged secondary parallel particle beam weapon (or perhaps the other way round - the game effect is the same). A set of powerful and long ranged lasers, plus a whole mess of short ranged PD lasers. The same top-end sensor and EW gear as Gallant, but because it's made at TL14 it'll be at a disadvantage vs a TL15 opponent (and won't have the edge over a TL14 ship that Gallant has). Fuel scoops, but only G5 manoeuvre (which isn't quite as big a deal in TNE/BL/BR as it would be in HG). The same armour as Gallant, and even stronger meson screen, but fewer sandcasters and dampers. Displacement about 25K DTons.

Has anyone found the USP for the World-Class Battle Tender?
I admit my google-fu has failed me on that

I'm only aware of a fanzine version - AAB Proceedings 14 had an MgT write-up of the class from Clayton Bush, along with its Zhimaway-class Rider. Those were updates from original versions in AAB Proceedings 3, due to increased understanding of the ruleset over time.

To compare them to other ships in the same game, the Admiral has a spinal meson equivalent (for damage) to the Starburst-class cruisers (the TNE version of the SEH/Gionetti), with a particle spinal rated for the same amount of damage as a Voroshilef-class battleship's meson spinal*. Gallant has a spinal that's halfway between the Voroshilef and Sylea for damage.

Both have the missile armament of a Starburst.

Gallant has laser turrets and defenses identical to a Starburst except twice as many sandcasters (so identical screens, double sand).

Admiral has laser turrets and meson screens equal to Sylea and sandcasters and nuclear dampers equal to Voroshilef, plus 10 laser bays. I think the only other thing with laser bays is the Rapier-class destroyer escort, which has 5 bays, and I can't remember if that's ever gotten a write-up elsewhere.

*this must be a refitted Voroshilef, since Rebellion gives them a particle spinal.

They could be laser barbettes, as Kinunir has those in Brilliant Lances (TL-14, 700MJ), and their BR performance is the same. Fiery also has barbettes, but they're less powerful (same damage in BR though) and lose damage with range (the Zhodani Vlezhdatl strike cruiser also has these, but it's not in BR). These lasers are not particularly special in BR, but in Brilliant Lances the 700MJ one is pretty scary.

That's on me, I didn't go back to the size -1 ships and look at them. Yeah, the Kinunir, Fiery, and Gazelle all have larger-than-turret laser weapons in BR, so those are replacing what the CT or MT writeups would have as particle barbettes or particle turrets (in this case, barbettes in CT or the "heavy" particle turret in MT for Admiral since it's TL-14).
