Yes, Casey, The Digital Millennium Copyright Act eradicates ALL fair use for digital media duplications. Not even Exact Backups are permitted by the letter of the law. Subject of course, to permissions in licenses.

Marc Miller is exceedingly reasonable about fair use, however.

CT CD-ROM would be very good indeed!

I am going to try and contact Mark and see if he will publish the missing pages somewhere. Pages 27 and 28 being missing from the players handbook is a huge mistake. It pretty much makes the game unplayable if you only have the CD-ROM for the rules.

CT on CD? I am sure not going to rush out and buy it before I see some reviews as to the quality. With it all available from Far Future in (good quality) dead tree format, I do not see much use for a CT CD version. :(

Buying all the CT reprints is going to seriously dent anyone's wallet (not to mention his or her bookshelf). I'd buy the CD in a flash, if only to collect all those articles and extras in one place. And, as I mentioned earler, the original CT material is very clear black-and-white print and line art (no text boxes with grey background), so scans should come out quite clear even going by the previous questionable standards.

Robject, if you're in contact with MWM, could you ask him to fix the MT CD-ROM first? It has missing pages, and some of the pages in the supplements are unreadable due to the poor contrast. It could be released as a free patch.

If the quality of the MT CD-ROM is anything to go by, I won't be buying any more.

Yep, I'm witcha. Marc's already committed to fixing the MT CD-ROM.

I think both are on the slow backburner.
