Welcome to the new COTI server. We've moved the Citizens to a new server. Please let us know in the COTI Website issue forum if you find any problems.

Any news on a possible Twilight CD ROM or was sales of the dead tree compilation too poor to warrant one. It does seem popular on his poll and drive through has been selling them for some time but at $5 a shot, it is bit too costly to buy a complete set. Plus, I would be interested to find out behind the scenes details and Challenge goodies.

The MT CD-ROM, first printing, exists. An "errata" exists for it (this is only proper since MT itself required massive errata), and the next printing, though not scheduled, will address these problems. I suspect Marc may make the fixed PDFs available to 1st edition purchasers as well.
Bottom line: if you need the MT CD-ROM, the current edition is worth getting. I have it and found it fine except for the tables from Hard Times.
You had 11 replies on that thread listing missing pages, articles and entire books (Hard Times) that need to be rescanned to be readable. Ironically, what we havn't seen is any fruit from these labors [refering specifically to the mountain of pages listed for the CT CD and JTAS CD].
I recognize, however, that doing something with the data is beyond your realm of control - it is just that work invested with no visible return, makes me disinclined to pour more effort into a similar venture ... I designed some ships for T20 instead.
The problem is that I really don't want to turn the MT list over to Marc without making sure it's complete. Note that I did update the list at the top of that thread with everything posted.
I just thought there were more problems than that...
I'm waiting to hear something is resolved with the MT CD before I buy it. I want my first look at Hard Times to be a pleasant experience.
(Also... I hear that there were later printings of MT that incorporated errata corrections into the text. Are the CD PDF's from these later versions or are they the bad first edition printings?)
(Also... side issue. How did the CT CD-rom errata process go? I had several problems with the Alien Modules and want to make sure to get the requests in before it is too late-- if you're still taking notes on that. Is there a comprehensive list for that somewhere?)
