Don't think of the Tavrchedl' as Police (the term Thought Police is an Imperial thing meant to demonize the Joe's) think of them as Emergence Response Mental Health Workers, they are Psych/Social Worker Double Degrees with powers of detainment who prowl the streets looking for people who's emotional state will negatively impact themselves or others the Tavrchedl' then interleave before it become a Police matter.

the Joes also have Police but they spend most of their time directing traffic or helping lost tourists.

This arises me another question: how common is intra-caste marriage among the Zhodani?

And if it common, what would be the status of the prole spouse? what that of thier offspring (if PSR is ?
