Already own it. Love the art, including the only flop-eared Vargr we've seen.
There's at least one in MgT's Vargr book...
Page 104 has a helmet with no room for upright or even the elven sweep-back ears (which are extremely common in that book), nor the backward pointing ears (also common in that book).
I'm thinking of either that or Hard Times, where there's a scene where the players go to a depot, and it's a 1d6 outcome affair. One possible outcome is that the place has been evacuated except for a genetically engineered soldiers who has some kind of outrageous strength of 18 or something. He's essentially angry hulk who's not to bright, but with a heart of gold. There were other outcomes, but I can't remember what they were.
It would be interesting to see new players tackle some of those classic situations. And, what's even more interesting, is that we were exposed to a genetic construct/grown soldier meant specifically for the war with the Zhos. A little bit of Blade Runner there.
There are some specific cases of individuals who Rodge has given some rights to. Marc has a general one, but it does not extend to licensees. I have a more specific one than Marc has (my letter gives rules for usage Marc's doesn't). There may be one other person who has a similar arrangement, but I don't think they are involved with Traveller anymore. 
While the DGP material is still great stuff, it has started showing its age. OTU canon material is available to licensees for reference, but generally needs to be rewritten for use. Rules material would need to be rewritten for other editions, so that usually is not a problem.

That may help explain why he's not selling the rights, it would undercut whoever he has given rights to.
And Don, who owns work performed for hire for GDW after 1996?
GDW closed in 1996. Rights reverted to the line creators.

Frank licensed 1889 to a company that's run reprint editions, and T2K to Marc for CD and BFB reprints; another company was licensed the name and produced the not so good T2013
Loren licensed or sold Dark Conspiracy (don't know which); it's in a new edition.
Marc has rights to all the Challenge articles for Traveller and 2300, and includes them on the appropriate CDs, and to all of the JTAS issues. The articles for 1889 seem to be part of Frank's stuff, since his licensee has reprinted them.
Not to continue beating a dead horse, but I have to bring this up somewhere.
Did anyone notice the multiple eBay auctions for a hoard of DGP and other rare Traveller materials (Cargonaut, Group One, etc) that completed earlier today?
A few things on my want list there (Group One's Theta Borealis, Travellers' Digest #3, some Cargonaut Press items) but nothing I just had to bid on.
Still, quite the collection, and overall they went for reasonable prices given the large lots.

The large lot sales are often the best way to pick up the really expansive stuff cheaply.
Or the parents that are cleaning out stuff the kids left behind. I bought an item from someone & they threw in a copy of 101 Robots (which had been my holy grail) because they found it later and didn't want to bother auctioning it separately.
