No plans as yet, but it is an idea we are open to.Just curious, is there any plan to update/release any of the old Traveller themed boxed games such as Snapshot or Azhanti High Lightning?
Either or. I just know how hard it is to get your hands on an old copy in a reasonable price. A new release of Snapshot for example, would be a fun buy for me.Are you talking hardcopy or updating the combat systems?
Thank you for taking the time to reply. No plans as yet, but it is an idea we are open to.
A generation that has watched The Expanse would dig it.GDW's Asteroid game was fun. It's not Traveller, but easy to use Snapshot rules with. I used the maps for different scenarios.
I always wanted to use the Asteroid ship from the Judges Guild book Dra'k'en, but it was just too large. Did use a couple of levels as a dungeon crawl type game.A generation that has watched The Expanse would dig it.
BiTS ACQ/Snapshot would be nice.No plans as yet, but it is an idea we are open to.
GDW wargames whent various ways. Marc got the traveller ones, and presumably sold them on to Mongoose with the rest of Traveller. And the Traveller wargames are on the CD. Belter isn't. Triplanetary was licensed to SJG for a while.I thought I remembered hearing that Compass had acquired the rights for the GDW wargames, including Belter.
The damage systems are different, and MgT2 has more weapon types in core than Mayday does. If you limit your MgT to Mayday's weapons, no problem. Alternately, just using the movement with MgT's to hit & damage system is not hard to do.How about Mayday as a stand-alone game and a space combat system for MgT2E?
