T5 Web Apps

I would like to take this "off-topic" discussion concerning alternate world generation systems to a new thread.

What sub-forum would be best suited to this?
* IISS - its definitely concerned with "worlds [...] (and beyond)"
* IMTU - it started as an alternate system for MTU
* SoftSol - it will be software someday, but I don't want to discuss software solutions, I want to discuss scientifc foundings and ways to model them in a game

Any ideas?

SectorMaker strips out Cp, Cs trade codes

I have been experiencing a strange thing. I have decided to select subsector capitals (Cp) and sector capitals (Cs) for my sector. I have put them in the spreadsheet, but when I convert back to a .csv file and insert it in the SectorMaker those codes are stripped out, they don't show.

I just uploaded a fix, so please try again. The new version ensures that the codes Mr Cp Cs Cx Fo Pz Da Ab An will be carried over from CSV.

Thalassogen, just downloaded the spreadsheet you put up last week, and I have one question: For the dwarf stars (D), why is the Age (second column) greater than the Lifetime (third column)?

Other than that, this looks very interesting.

White dwarfs (D) are burned out stars - stellar remnants/corpses like neutron stars or black holes. Its the kind of object as which stars like our sun end their life.
The lifetime I calculated consists of two parts: the time the hydrogen lasts (about 90% of the total lifetime) and the time the fusion of heavier elements lasts (about 10% of the total lifetime). During hydrogen fusion the star is a main-sequence star (type V or VI). During fusion of heavier elements the stars swells to giant state (type IV, III, II, Ib, Ia, Ia-0). After that it ejects its outer shell and becomes a white dwarf (D) or ends its life as a supernova and becomes a neutron star or black hole.

At the moment the T5 web apps seem to periodically die down. I am not entirely sure if this is due to some error or if this is some kind of denial of service attack. I hope for the former and would be very happy if any of you who experience problems with the site while in the midst of using it would describe what they did just before the application stopped answering.

Windows 8+
Word Generator R2 is available now. New feature: Load your own languages, created online!

NEW! Android 2.3.3 and up
Word Generator for Android available for free!

Getting closer: Obviously at midnight (GMT) the T5 web apps enter an infinite loop and stop processing requests, seemingly while some bot is indexing the web. I have no idea why this is happening.

Problem solved.
