I just had an idea: if you want an instant starport, just fire up Google Earth and click on an airport. Somewhere like JFK or Heathrow makes a nice A/B.
 
Stockton Municipal (in California) is also a good small one, particularly since it has a heliport attached.

Another good one for a frontier port is the Douglas County Airport in Nevada.

What is funny is that there used to be a version of the announcement where the woman sounded really annoyed (to be played when the conductor had to close the doors like five times), but they stopped playing it because too many riders complained...
 
Yep ever once an awhile a tourist would stick his arm in the doors and CHOMP! They are padded but they are not elevator doors. I miss Metro, I hate having to drive everywhere. :(
