My favorite is the red jacket uniforms seen first in The Wrath of Khan. These were used for the rest of the Classic Trek movies. They look the most "real" to me. And, they look very "Navy"-esque.

Same with me, although I find they feel the most "space navy" to me.

The Enterprise Jumpsuits aren't too bad (though admittedly I prefer T'Pol's :smirk: ); they would be a good Scout Service uniform.

I've always liked the Enterprise jumpsuits because of two reasons: ZIPPERS and POCKETS! I've always believed that those jumpsuits were more suited for those who worked in space. It kind of balances style and functionality. However, I like the red uniforms in the movies as well. They don't look functional but they are stylish. Those look more suited as a formal dress uniform for special occasions.

I'm glad to see no-one has voted for the ill conceived men's skirt look from the TNG 'Encounter at Farpoint' pilot.

Funny how they dropped that idea. ;)

I voted for Voyager, but the Enterprise blue jumpers aren't bad.

I hated the MACO unis (looks like spilled paint), and the disco-suits
the Xindi Reptilians wore.

The unis in the movie (the title escapes me for the moment) where
Picard found his double in the Romulan empire weren't bad either.

And while I'm griping, those Phaser Rifles in First Contact (also used
in Voyager) were nice. I hated those "Tweezer-rifles" used in some
eps. I'd have loved to see a parody and them pulling nose hairs out
of an alien to incapacitate them.

As a slight but valid tangent to this, when it comes to uniforms I think one of the best, with a fewe exceptions, are the judge uniforms from "judge dredd:.

Not advocation judghe dredd, I hate fascism and see the comic as a warning against fascism that few, even in england, are heeding, but if you take the basic judge uniform, GET RID OF SOME OF THE STUPID BITS like the giant eagle shoulderpad and the chain badge, it would make a damn good, practical uniform with all the pouches for holding stuff, the pads for moving around in zero g without hurting yourself and even for combat duty if it were made of kevlar or some more advanced material.
