Blue jumpsuits from the Enterprise era?

Multi-colored tunics from the Classic Trek era?

Uniforms from the The Motion Picture era?

Red jackets from the The Wrath of Khan and the Classic Trek movies era?

My favorite is the red jacket uniforms seen first in The Wrath of Khan. These were used for the rest of the Classic Trek movies. They look the most "real" to me. And, they look very "Navy"-esque.

The TNG era of shows showed a similar theme but expressed in a variety of ways, bringing us a number of uniform types rivaling what we saw in TMP.

I remember liking them more than the uniforms of the motion picture - but they still appear too militaristic for Star Fleet.

And then, Starfleet made slimmed the number of uniform styles again, as they did in Kirk's red jacket days. But, they still carry the same theme from the earlier TNG/DS9/Voyager uniforms.

My favorite is the TMP jumpsuits, followed closely by the TOS/TAS colored tunics.

I prefer the Enterprise style, and I even used it as the model for my setting,
although I changed the colour from blue to sand colour.

I don't think there's a uniform I've not liked, really, but the raw naval/submarine look of the red Khan suits will always be the winner. Close second are the classic trek uniforms and the 2-piece Next Gen ones from season 2 onwards.
For many years I hated the Pyjamas from the Motion Picture but in recent years I've grown to actually quite like them.

I voted Classic. Though if one would like to get a little more accurate, I actually prefer the "Pike-era" uniforms over the "Kirk-era" uniforms. My favorite being the landing party blue jacket with the Velcro closure (which is in some vague way reminiscent of TWoK red jacket).

And I will admit to using Scarecrow's Trek miniatures maker to create a great Classic Trek Andorian that I used for awhile as an avatar on SJGames' forum. Thanks Scarecrow! That's one handy creation you have there! When/if I ever do my Classic Trek/Traveller game, I know where I'm going for minis.

I like most of them for various reasons. But I voted for the TWOK uniform because I like the look.

After that, I'd say the TMP uniform and then the TNG-movie jumpsuits

Didn't vote, Wil? No votes for TMP yet.

I felt the same way about TMP uniforms, but they have grown on me. I still don't like the 70's bell bottomed tunics, but the rest of the tunic is good.

And, I like the Army-style rank tabs on some of the uniforms. That's cool.

I just like how there's several different types of uniform: a duty uniform; a light duty uniform; a formal uniform; etc.

TMP has grown on me too.

But, still, I think the red jackets are the best. They're my favorite.

One of the things I liked from the Classic Trek era, that changed when they made TMP, were the assignment badges.

In Classic Trek, Starfleet wore different assignment badges on their breast. They didn't all wear the Enterprise's arrowhead.

I hope that they go back to that practice with the new movie.

!!! Sexist Pig Alert !!!

I really think we should be voting on the best Star Trek cat suits:

o ENT - Jolene Blalock (never look at Vulcans the same again)
o VOY - Jerri Ryan (proves Borg have taste)
o DS9 - Terry Farrell (Nana Visitor and Nicole DeBoer are just too skinny; and there's always Chase Masterson, the daboo girl)
o TNG - Marina Sirtis (progenitor of the ST cat suit)
o TOS - Nichelle Nichols (always had a thing for Uhura)
