Can anyone tell me which of the designs in the free download differs from those in the Traveller handbook. The pdf if 47 pages and I don't want to print pages if they are the same as in the book.

I think they all have some (many are minor) corrections so the short answer is all of them. Best solution might be to just take some comparitive notes from the PDF on your screen and then just print a list of the changes.

As far-trader indicated the pdf changes for Chapter 13 vary from no changes to complete deletions. One deletion from the pdf is the Ship's Computer Table (THB p. 282). On pdf p. 3 the Model/M1 Robot Brain has corrections for Number of core units, cost, application of the miniaturization rule and the Total Cost.

I second far-trader's suggestion of cutting and pasting the appropriate items, but being a rather lazy sort I downloaded the pdf and print the pages I need.
