Settlement of Heya.

I'm working on the history of Heya and have decided that it was settled in 320 by someoner from somewhere in Deneb. Can anyone suggest a suitable world? Some place with the population and wealth to generate its own separatist movement at that date?

Otherwise I'm just going to grab my Regency Sourcebook and pick something that looks plausible.

Vincennes (Deneb 1122) is listed in Megatraveller Journal #3 as having been settled early in the Imperium and made subsector capital by the mid 200s. It might not be canon per se, but it's still subsector capital.

It's a water world, 90% hydrosphere, so maybe some people wanted to farm dry land for a change. Or a bunch lost a political fight and left.

HRD (1623) is close by Vincennes and has the inverse problem, only 10% hydrosphere. Maybe people there wanted to move someplace where they didn't have to file paperwork in triplicate to take a long shower.

Vincennes has 10 billion now, so plenty of potential settlers in the past. I thought HRD was a high population world too, all caps and all that, but it's only 8 million, so the name must be just those three capital letters.

Starn (1417) is a high population asteroid belt.

Marz (0201) has a billion now, and is much closer to Heya than the others.
