Though not all Solomani. Some of them consider uplifts of Terrestial species to be part of the Superior Solomani.

There are many variant beliefs among the Solomani.

Hey it's either 60 to almost 100 years until First Contact, depending if you go with Star Trek or Traveller. Once that happen it should improve some things. Though both scenarios had problems: Star Trek - We have to go thru a nuke war and become a bunch of PC do-nothing moralists. Traveller - We have mult-generational war (The interstellar Wars) for our survival and Solomani become speciesist(sp).

QUESTION OF THE DAY - Charlie Tuna talks, does this mean hes been "uplifted"???? or is he just more Chicken of the Sea???

Define "Weak". Not enough Kewl Powerz? Not munchkiny enough? Provide examples of "Strong" alien races to compare and contrast.

How true. Therefore, be quiet, human.

;) :D
</font>[/QUOTE]Reminds of the scene at Milliways in the Hitchhiker Guide trilogy.

"I recommend my rump roast, I've been doing a strict regiment of exercise and grain to get the texture just right."

"Sir, would you like my liver?"

"A green salad. I know several vegatables that would take exception to that."

Tongue-in-cheek aside, George (nice imagery. I dimly remember that episode)

There will be, as we have today, those championing the rights of the uplifted species.
From the far left-wing fruitcakes (the last stronghold of rebellious thought anarchy-oppose the "establishment" types, to the true humanists whose actions match their altruism.

Could make for interesting adventures--a sort of abolitionist movement to move towards true Pan-Sophontism.
My 1.25 credits worth. ;)

Better catch up on whats bein loaded in Trade Cargoes TJ, lest the Uplift police think yer smugglin again! Gotta watch him like a hawk, a body does!
