I'm sure I've seen accounts of odd things happening to weight when gyroscopes are involved. I dunno if there's any scientific background to that or not, or whether it's got anything to do with Woodward's experiments in that last link, but I thought I'd throw that into the mix

While an Alcubierre warp drive might be a good basis for a traveller m-drive, this might be a little better:

I've read up on this before, the implications of this development if correct seem not to suggest deep space thrusters but rather contra grav lifters of null grav suspension though the idea of negative mass being generated by huge capacitor banks fits well with the jump drive.
