When I received a Barony for assisting the Emperor with a classified project (otherwise known as wishing Marc Miller a happy birthday, which as we all know is very well deserved), I could not resist taking up residence on my home planet of Cyan (even though I have family on Falkenberg here in the Trojan Reaches, their planet does not yet acknowledge the rule of the Imperium). I shall write a report on the planet Baron Cyan 2102 Pax Rulin/Trojan Reaches, C4689B9-B W Hi 510 3I, as soon as I am able.
If you have a subscription to JTAS Online, you should take a look at my writeup of the Outrim Frontier in the Year 400 (

In case you don't have a subscription, I'll extract the relevant information for you here:

Library data about Cyan (anno 400, natch):
Cyan (Trojan Reach 2102, D468877-6): Independent world in Subsector C of the Trojan Reach. Cyan is the homeworld of two minor non-human races, the Seli and the Dirgi. The two races live in a symbiotic relationship that has not yet been studied in any detail. The relationship appears to be that of equal partners, with the Seli providing great strength and endurance and the Dirgi providing delicate motor skills and multiple limbs. Seli-and-Dirgi pairs make great foot soldiers, the Seli carrying large, powerful weapons and the Dirgi operating them with impressive skill.
Cyan was forced to join the Sindalian Empire in -1732. The empire deliberately kept its technology too low to build space- and starships. When the empire fell, life on Cyan went on pretty much as before until recontacted by traders from Bellion around 100, except that the Humans marooned there turned into second-class citizens.
During the recent Bellion-Perrior conflicts, the nations of Cyan traded indiscriminately with both sides and were invaded several times by expeditionary forces from both sides, generating considerable resentment towards Humans, which makes Cyan a dangerous place for Humans to visit.
Additional information about Cyan (from a campaign suggestion):
Cyan has its share of banana states, but humans are second-class citizens, so human adventurers will be operating under a handicap there.
Hope you'll find that useful,
Cheers,
Hans
