Kickstarter Books? Are they still shipping?

I would much rather he keep working through the Kickstarter supporters packages, getting those sent out as a priority.

He has to take a break away for this all as well.

More communication would be great too, but he is, after all a one man band and does not have legions of staff to do the work for him like say, Reaper Bones Kickstarter, which has had worse communication issues.

Please forgive my impatience for I am a Traveller player

My T5 got sent to the wrong address and it appears to have not been forwarded properly. Have sent queries to Marc via farfuture and kickstarter but no response. What is the best email to use? Thanks in advance.

After trying to be patient for nearly a month I was starting to panic and reaching out to Marc for information. So of course it shows up in yesterday's mail.

Thanks to all who offered information. For those still waiting it is worth it!

I'd been holding off asking this too just out of respect of the workload Mark undertook. However i'm starting to despair. I had a message saying it would ship by the 1st june after his return from vacation, yet still nothing yet.

Can't help but think this piecemeal mailing stategy has done the game no favors, a lot of us have literally been waiting years for this game and to see ebay and stores beginning to get it first is rather galling.

Please give the mailing imps a swift proverbial boot!

Some of the stores participated in the kickstarter. Amazon doesn't actually have any- the amazon listings are for Amazon partners who participated in the kickstarter.

In an effort to remain positive, I keep telling myself that I will spend a lot longer reading the book than I have done waiting on it to arrive.

I can only assume that Marc is under extreme pressure to ship the final few packages and has probably had a fair few emails (as well as mine) trying to see if/when their package will ship.

Don mentioned earlier in this thread that he had spoken to Marc and the June 30 cut-off is still on target.

To keep our spirits up, our new batch of Traveller t-shirts arrived yesterday with the "Mayday..." text on the back. Mine is still in the plastic wrap and I intend to open it the day my book and dice set arrives.

I just got my shipping notice for the T5 Core Book.
I ordered it less than 24 hours ago from Noble Knight at 59 USD.
Quite excited now as I will most likely have it this time next week.

As for the one I ordered from FFE, 79 days ago?

Well, I was told it was "expected to ship" around 27th April.
I was also told it would be "personally dispatched" around the 15th June.
And finally I was told it was "expected to ship this week".

Now I have lost all hope in ever seeing it, but, should it ever turn up at least we will have a spare copy of the book and a set of dice.

At this late date I've pretty much written off the $150 I did in the kickstarter as a bad investment. And as I'm on a fixed income losing that much money hurts. But I'll give Marc time to reach the June 30 deadline before I completely lose faith.

Me too Kaeto. I'm unemployed. The financial climate here in Ireland is bad.
But at least I am getting a copy of the book. I promised my kids they would see it before the summer holidays and we would be playing it during the summer break. At least I kept to my promise. As for the 163 Dollars I originally spent, well it's long gone and I too have written it off as a bad investment.

I got around to joining the Kickstarter very late and didn't splurge for any frills. I just received my shipping notice yesterday, so they are definitely still shipping.

I grabbed an Ebay copy with the Dice that I wasn't able to Kickstart for.

As I previously posted, I emailed Marc about the missing KS book and I got it in a week.

So I also have a spare for wear and tear, a CD and a nice signed copy with a Jump Drive and coins.

Don't loose your faith as Marc will deliver and fix any issues!

Got my notice about a day ago and contacts from USPS, so they are still shipping and delivering!

As for an accurate date, almost all Kickstarters don't respect delivery dates by very much.. and with Traveller 5 I think it isn't too late if we compare with the average delay fro that kind of production...!

Anyway, a simple word to keep your hope and faith up!

It's not the waiting that bugs me, it's the lies. The first email telling me they expect to ship that week (end of April). Second email asking me to remind him on 15 June and my order would be 'personally dispatched'. The final email telling me once again it would expect to ship this week.
Just be honest!! That is why I have lost hope. I have absolutely no reason to believe that my order will ever ship. I certainly won't be contacting him again as its pointless.
My wife is convinced that it is a scam and that he purposefully let the order go over the 45 day deadline for opening a claim through PayPal.

My kids didn't believe T5 ever exists until I showed them the shipping notice thanks to Noble Knight.

The whole thing has left a very sour taste in the mouth and I wish I'd never heard of T5.
