How Old Are We? (T20)

I know we already have a "how old are we" thread, but I'm curious about something a little more specific: I'd like to get a grip on the age breakdown of fans who like different versions of the game. This would hopefully be more useful in determining which demographic is the main market for each game.

So I'm going to ask three questions here in separate posts (since I can't seem to persuade it to work with multiple questions). I'd like people to answer the question most relevant to them.

The question in this poll is for fans of T20. If you're a fan of CT or GT, please answer one of the other questions in a separate post.

(if you got into it via any other version and use that as your system of choice today, then please don't answer this poll - I'm just interested in those three systems.

Note that I'm not asking when you bought into the game - just which one you bought into and which one you use.

I am 40 and play in t20. I played 3 times in ct before but that includes char gen. It was okay but the group never could get together and play so I lost interest.
Then found this website.

I'm more after people who actually started playing Traveller with T20 to answer the poll itself.

There's a good possibility that many people won't be able to answer these polls because the questions are too specific. That's OK - in that case feel free to comment, but just don't vote

Old story: started with CT in 1980, collected all formats except GURP(no offense intended) and now am enthusiastic about T20.

I really started playing with t20. The 3 games I did play may have taken a total of 8 hours game time to include char gen.

Not a lot of people have voted here, but it's interesting that there are no young gamers so far, considering that this is T20 - in fact, the ages look very similar to the CT poll results so far.

Started with CT, tried MT, T2300, 2300AD, TNE, T4 and now T20.

My favourite system was MT (even if it didn't work) until T20 came along.

Huh, so is it just us grognards that bother replying to polls?

I dunno. I'd be the first to point out that these polls probably aren't all that meaningful given how few of the subscriber base actually post anything to the boards, so take it with a pinch of salt.

It is interesting that there are very few respondents for this and the other poll in the 20-something or younger bracket though. I wonder if T20 really has grabbed that many new, young players at all...

Hmmm - voted before you told me not to!

I started with CT 20-some years ago. Haven't played Traveller for 10 years or so, now have restarted with T20....does that count?

If your first encounter with Traveller was CT, respond to the CT poll.

If your first encounter with Traveller was GURPS Traveller, respond to the GT poll.
