GURPS Traveller: London, England

Get rich quick, they said. Make a fortune, they said. Buy a free trader, and become a merchant – there's gold out there among the stars. But it didn't work out that way. You came out here to the fringe of the Empire, to what you thought was a safe backwater; of course it wasn't. They never are. You're struggling just to make the payments on the mortgage, and somehow keep the ship maintained. And now there is a crew you are responsible for.

But you have a ship. And you've found freedom out here, not being bound to one world in the cluster, but able to roam. You can get away from your problems; at least some of them. Maybe you won't get rich of this life; but maybe, just maybe, you wouldn't want to. And your crew; well each of them seems to have some secret, somewhere. Or just loves the life, as you are beginning to. Just keep flying. Something's bound to turn up.

This is a rather more gritty campaign, to be run using GURPS: Traveller and set in the Traveller universe. No knowledge of the Traveller universe is required; I've deliberately set it in an area where canon does not dare to venture much (Antares sector). Some knowledge of the GURPS rules would be useful, but GURPS: Lite will suffice for the campaign. This will be much lower-key, in the style of Firefly. As far as chargen, anything goes as long as it fits the universe; I'm being very liberal on character creation.

It's being run out of my house in Isleworth on alternate Sundays; we have some players but a couple of empty chairs if anyone is interested. You can get in touch at methuslah@ntlworld.com

Thanks,
Richard

Hi Rich!

Sounds like my kinda gig, if you're still looking for players, and don't mind a commuter from the Far East (well, Essex anyway).

I'm already busy alternate Sundays, but if your dates match with mine, I'm interested... So which dates are you guys meeting on?

All the best,
G
