The new Traders and Gunboats book looks cool.

I'd like to grab the books that mostly contain ships.
Adventure Class Ships
Small Craft Catalogue
The Imperial Navy

Is the High Guard Update worth it? Were the ships taken out? And I really don't want to build any.

Are there any others you think I should get?

The Imperial Navy only contains the Tigress as far as ships go, going into much more detail than the coverage in High Guard.

War Fleets of the Fifth Frontier War does include a number of new ships.

The High Guard book, latest version being the 2022 update, contains all the ships from CT and S:9. There are 152 pages of them.
