Zhodani Coreward Expeditions

Does anybody have any advice on which product or where to find info on the Zhodani Core Expeditions? Either MgT or CT. I don't remember much about them and want to reacquaint myself. Thanks.

there used to be a website devoted to the core expeditions but has been gone a long time. I tried an wayback machine link I had for it but I guess it's gone from there as well.

Chris Lineham has said (a) he pulled his site because of something in the initial MgT terms and conditions, and (b) now that the MgT issue is resolved he intends to restore his website once he has found a new host (it was on Geocities). Admittedly nothing has happened in a while so perhaps a friendly nudge is in order.

There is also paper copies of Security Leak floating around eBay. The Core Expedition would make a great backdrop for any campaign - I was thinking of taking either the Original BSG or STNG and adapting the modules. Even Stargate could work in a pinch just remove the Gate and replace it with Jump Drives...and you have it.

Essentially, the Core remains whatever you want it to be. I am really hoping that MgT (when they release the Zhodani module) takes it up to bring Traveller into new and unexplored territories.

Thanks Gray Lensman. That's some good stuff a lot of info there. There's a thread over on the Mongoose boards on this same subject and someone had mentioned the Solomani had launced a coreward expedition also? Does anyone know where I could find out any info on that? Thanks.

Not canon, but the draft of the DGP book 'Grand Explorations' mentions that the Solomani focus their attentions rimward (funnily enough) and have launched massive exploration ships deep into the Perseus Arm of the Galaxy - as far as 3000 Parsecs.

Perhaps the human core expedition you're thinking of is the Longbow Project by the Imperium? Not so much an expedition though. More an observation of the Zho expeditions.
