YouTube presence

One of my idle past time is to watch YouTube but I am amazed at the lack of Traveller presence there is. I don't have the equipment to make a short, but, I am surprised that Traveller gaming groups out there have not sought to broadcast a LARP or real play or at very least put some of Andrew's pretty movies up there.

So, hopefully once I get back with a regular gaming group, we might see something broadcast, in the meantime, others with equipment & talent get to it. For Dungeons & Dragons outstrips us by far.

Hey, what are those cool-looking craft on the military base? Look like little Y-Wings...

Tiny cockpit, twin engines.

One-ton cockpit maybe, and another two tons max for each engine, so a five-ton recon craft, maybe.

Sort of, kind of like this:

4.5 tons, streamlined, 3G gravitic drive (good out to 100D). Appx 1t fuel. MCr0.9.

I never did work out stats for those fighters. I tried to stop them looking like baby Y-wings, but my mouse had other ideas...

I'm making a new version of the SCN recruiting film, so I won't upload the old one.

I know that Loren has some sort of secret project under wraps but it bothers me to no end that the most successful Science Fiction RPG cannot even compete against something like this: http://www.midnight-film.com/

Even a simple epic can begin very small without Lucas level Special Effects just have a good story and Traveller does the rest...

Regarding Traveller web presence, if anybody casually interested Googles Traveller all they get is the forums and the product line websites, all very wordy and not particularly inspiring. People need visual stimulation nowadays or else they lose interest quickly.
What would be cool would be an independent visual intro website to the Traveller universe(s) with a quality gallery of art, models, movies, maps, fiction, etc. donated by the extemely talented CotI collective.
This would be linked to the Wiki, all the important sites and give an initial feel to what Traveller is all about. If it looked professional, contemporary and was quality controlled it could do a lot to remedy the slight image problem that Traveller has,(admit it, it does).
If this was treated right it could be very impressive. If you look at some of the Eve Online or WoW fansites it's amazing what few amateurs and a lot of enthusiasm can accomplish.

Thanks! I almost bit off more than I could chew with that one (which is why it took about a year to finish, and gets a bit rushed towards the end), but it didn't turn out too bad.
