MGT Only: Would this be how TNS would describe Traveller's Medial Conditions for MgT2e+

This is how I see medical status descriptions in MgT2e+.

If TNS reports accidents, VACC Suit breaches, diseases, and stabbings/shootings in medical terms, would this be correct?

Incapacitated or Unconscious
- low or zero END

Injured
- zero END and low or zero STR or DEX

Seriously Injured
- zero END and low STR and DEX or zero STR or DEX

Critically Injured
- zero EDU, STR, and DEX

Casualty
- Dead or Killed

Do I have the numbers right? Also, how do you make Characteristic checks when the Characteristics are at zero?

And how does TNS describe Medical Conditions in your game?

I would assume 'injured' means 'took damage'. 'Lightly injured' might mean 1-2 points.

Seriously injured - Took damage to 2-3 stats (so 0 END in MgT2).

Critically injured - 0 END both other stats under half, or two stats on 0 (which also means 'unconscious', 'in a coma', etc.).

Three three physical stats at 0 would be 'dead'.
 
Based on my own unfortunate experiences :oops: which allowed my players some good descriptions of what was going on:

Incapacitated: Linked to the other injury levels, but generally unable to use any skills but can communicate and observe. Linked more to pain than any significant damage (though that can occurr) (ever seen someone really punched in the liver?!?)

Unconscious: Linked to other injury levels, obvious in effect, should come with potentially longer-term recovery requirements.

Injured: Sprains, lacerations, heavy bruising, impacting on skill checks and the capacity to operate equipment or move depending on where the injury is (Priority 3 casualty)

Seriously injured: Major lacerations, significant possible ongoing blood loss, broken or damaged limbs or bones in the trunk, lost of digits or sensory organs, etc. If treated immediately and stabilised then can be resolved in a med facility at a later point. Will degrade to critical in short span of time (10-30 mins) if not treated (Priority 2 casualty)

Critically injured: lost limbs, major bleeding from or into torso, major cranial injury, etc. Requires immediate stabilisation treatment from a paramedic/combat medic/trauma nurse, followed by stabilisation surgery a short time (20-40) mins later to prevent death. If not treated then results in death in a short period of time (Priority 1 casualty)

Dead: not the end of the story if able to be frozen in time...
