Will T5 be here by the end of the year?

Mongoose's delays are likely due to their dropping in-house printing and going back to outsourcing to commercial printers.

They did? Praise the Lord. I may well get MGT now. Which means, if I like it, I'll probably pick up T5 for crossover and detail potential.

Very good point. I actually have plans of making LBB's from my T5 CD, complete with new Traveller graphics, deckplans, etc, I have collected through the years. I guess that does label me among the Few the Crazy.

That is what I am doing with my MT set. Finished the Referee's Manual today & am starting on the Player's Manual after the Tx Primary.

I have thought of similar things, but setting this up so that I don't have to trim the pages is a pain....

I plan on my LBBs to be a little different then the Traveller norm. Rolling up a character? Pick up the Character Generation book. Combat? Pick up the combat book. Space combat? One book for all of that. Travelling and trading? One book for that too. Charts on the back and inside covers of the crucial information. No constant shuffling between the books during play, one book basically covers each play event.

T5 Progress Report March 1, 2008

I wanted to update everyone on the progress on the T5 CD ROM.

First, I am so very gratified by your responses and support as we move toward completion of this project. In response to my earlier emails about delays, the overwhelming answer was… “get it right, we want to see a good project.”

I am sorry to announce we face another delay. I think that the disks I would send out this weekend would not be as satisfying as I could make them. Our revised ship date is the end of March.

I didn't get my bonus package and I emailed Marc. I had a replacement within days. Actually I wasn't paying attention to the fact another Traveller was coming out by Mongoose lol. Now I have to decide if I am going to get that or not lol.
