Which font did MegaTraveller use?

I've heard rumors that the text font was simply Arial (or similar). I'd really like to know what font they used for the game title .... MegaTraveller .... on the front of every book.

More than 1 was used.

The big "MEGATRAVELLER" font shows up as Globe URW D Overweight. Which is only 19.95 at www.myfonts.com

When I cut & paste general text, it shows up as arial-MT. So I just use arial.

The MT style guide draft I've been working on is:

The cover logo and similar text are Globe Gothic. Interior chapter titles are in Optima. Interior main text is in Helvetica.

Thanks for all the answers. The reason I'm asking is that I'm considering writing some new subsystems for my upcoming campaign (New Combat, Ship Combat and probably a simplified Vehicle design system) and I'd like them to look good.

Helvetica takes up more space than Arial.
