Sorry for sounding (or acutally being) really dumb... I have gone to FFE's web site and cannot really tell if this T5 is out or can I still pre-order/order it? the site is wonderfully obfuscating the information and answers for me.

If I add the T5 CD to my cart and buy it, am I purchasing the finished product now or the still in the works version?

I wouldn't mind purchasing either really, but if I purchase this CD, do I then have to purchase the finished product again? Or is this just a pre-order bonus that I get material on the CD and access to the forums, and then when the finished product is released I get the finished copy?

Help!

I have MGT and am not as let down as others on it, however I am still looking forward to T5 and would like to get this and see what I can do with it.

You can pre-order the CD now. This gets you a pack of goodies and access to the playtest forum. The disc will be sent once it's finished.

And don't tell me it couldn't be done! I've seen some incredibly stupid "elven dice" that had these basically unreadable numbers deeply stamped into the dice faces and then inked so they wouldn't chip off. If they can make a set of those elven number die stamps they can make an imperial sunburst!!!

Here's the outfit that made the elven dice, I believe. Maybe Hunter's license could allow him to submit designs.

There are many company's that make dice.
Both in the United States and ther countries.
China makes lots of custom dice but the order size(quantity) is huge if you don't want to pay a lot per die.

When I devoloped the MK (R) d6 dice for WizKids, LLC we decided upon a 2 color swirl in the die with different color for the dots.
You are not limited to putting the logo or design in the 1 or 6 position. But if you put design in a die face I would seriously recommend that you pay for a good dice making company to do the work.
Reason: face balance, ie if the faces are not balanced one side will have tendency to roll up more often.

Not associated with the seller except as a new customer but now I can tell you where you can too if you want since I got mine. They seem to be a slow seller, they've been on eBay for ages and I kept hemming and hawing. I finally went to their internet store but the shipping to Canada was crazy, I saved, er Santa saved a bunch by ordering from their eBay store instead. Not sure what's up with that, maybe for the US it's different.

My birthday is in a few days, and between that and Xmas I'm hoping for a couple sets of dice with the Imperial Sunburst. Always wanted 'em, never gotten a set. My usual Traveller dice are black with red pips, which I'm assuming from coliver988's post came with Deluxe Traveller.

As for T5... I should've put the pre-order cd on my list too. Is there such a thing as getting too much Traveller?

I bought two sets of the dice. I donated 1 pair to Nuke-Con along some Traveller books as prizes.
I had bought several pairs way back from a local hobby store. Used them so much the markings wore off. I hope there will be a new version that will avoid that problem.

One pair is perfect. I haven't even opened the baggie yet. I can't decide what to do now. I've been rolling the less than perfect pair (a couple stamping bleeds/lifts, nothing major) just for fun. And it is

I just received my copy of the Traveller 5 CD today. I didn't receive notice of its shipping but with Yahoo getting weird with its spam blocking, it might have got shunted there.

Haven't checked it yet. My best friend (and longtime gaming consort) Julie just had cancer surgery. My wife & I are helping her recuperate.
