Three syllables, VEH-meh-nee. I suppose if I pronounced it as two syllables, the accent would fall last: veh-MEEN.

But I'd pronounce that word 'Veh meh nay'.
To my ear (and tongue), 'Veh meh knee' = Vemeni
and
"Veh meh nay' = Vemene
With this pronunciation, emphasis is pretty much possible on any of the syllables, first or third seems more intuitive but second seems most cool:
