Troop quality in Megatraveller

I hope someone can help me. How does troop quality in MT (i.e. veterans, regulars, irregulars, recruits, etc) relate to the four types in CT/Striker (i.e. elites, long service professionals, conscripts or militia)? Why did they change the names? I understood that MT combat was heavily derived from CT/Striker.

THe MT morale labels are the same as the moral labels in striker, which is the effect they have. Striker Initiative is dropped.

Unlike striker, the labels of elites, etc, do not need to be game mechanics, since the effects of stat and skill (even in mass combat) are not abstracted into troop quality.

Example MT Units:

C-3-39 1Plt Sq1: 12 troops, Kevlar Pots only, 5.56 rifles
787775 Hits 36/60 Morale: Green/4 AV=2
Rifleman 1, Recon 1, Computer 1*, Sensor ops 1*, Commo 0*
5mm Assault Rifles. 6x30rd, Pen/Atten=2/2 Dmg=36 MxR=VLong DM+2

C-3-39 3Plt 48 troops, Kevlar Pots only, 5.56 rifles
787775 Hits 144/240 Morale: Green/4 AV=2
Rifleman 0, Recon 0, Computer 1*, Sensor ops 1*, Commo 2*, Demo 1*, Linguistics 1* (Spanish, Korean, and Russian)
5mm Assault Rifles. 6x30rd, Pen/Atten=2/2 Dmg=144 MxR=VLong DM+1

*represents skills held by only a few members of unit.

Thanks Aramis. I wasn't very precise in my question. How do you know in Megatraveller what proportion of recruits, regulars, etc you have in a unit. In CT/Striker there were percentages given for each type of army i.e. conscripts, militia, etc.
