I haven't bought TA1 yet. But I'm considering it.
My first impressions after looking at the preview were: (1) I hate the "frilly artwork around the edges of the page" thing that everyone does now. (2) It looked all flavor and no mechanics.
Some days later, I went back to take a look at it again. Second impressions were better. Looking closer, I saw a bit of d20 & CT (woohoo!) mechanics. Even more surprising, I saw that the preview included tasers (under the name "stunner" I believe). I'd just been wondering recently how to handle tasers in CT.
After reading the reviews, I'm definately interested.
There is, however, at least one big obsticle between "interested" and "ready-to-buy":
Twice now, I've asked if the CT material in the QuickLink products would be playtest.

Despite the fact that Hunter always seems to quickly chime in whenever anyone else asks a question, this question has been ignored.
You know, even if the answer is, "No, we haven't playtested the CT stuff at all." That doesn't necessarily mean I won't buy any of the QuickLink products. Just the fact that us CT fans are being recognized in print means a lot. It's the complete ignoring of the question that is really disturbing.
(Of course, another obsticle is the fact that I've been spending so much on d20 books and the CT reprints that even another $5 on something RPG related might not make the wife happy.
