The book showed up yesterday and I have had a chance to skim through it. A few thoughts:
- a decent assortment of ships, most of which I can see some use for.
- one new ship component (the drop capsule launcher), used as a major part of the Light Assault Transport and as the basis of one module for the Modular Clipper
- while putting the ships in categories is useful, I don't quite agree with some of the categories a ship was placed in
- the modular skiff is a nice addition, but it doesn't have a single ****ing module listed
- nice to see the colonial cruiser, but it is missing jump torpedoes
