Time to confess!

On average how many hours a day do you spend haunting the halls of CotI?

It has occurred to me that since discovering CotI I tend to spend quite a bit of time parked in front of the computer. I see that many others are doing the same. So how much time do you spend here at CotI?

Now considering a minuet tends to be 2-8 minutes long that would make 15-30 minuets longer then half an hour.

OK. Who's the lone figure who spends 3-4 hours here? And, why didn't they answer "Not involved because I spend so much time on CotI" on the second question?

I spend 2-3 hours a day here (sad, yes...) at abouttwenty minutes at a time, I am not involved because it seems that women don't want me to be and I'm going back to school, not working, but otherwise I check it when I have a chance.

Generally I check this site, see if there's anything new (often there isn't) and go somewhere else, then come back.

I answered that I did not want to incriminate myself becaue I am on the computer at work "ALL DAY" (it just happens that the CotI site is at the top of my favorite sites and I "Accidentally" hit the button occasionally).

I check in often; just long enough to make a comment, but the time does add up.

I spend 2-3 hours a day here and I tell my wife what is going on in "Our World".
She likes it when we chase Trader Jim around the Universe and I shower yellow liquid disrespect on his shoes ;) (right here in public!)

minuet/minute I get it! HA! Didn’t catch it this time! One of my famous misspells. My other favorite one is from and form. :D

I keep waiting for that knock on the office door announcing the arrival of the IT Police coming to talk about my Internet Usage. At home, I seldom spend more than one hour per week of free time on the computer, but I hit these boards each time.

A 17th C dance, originating in France. Played in 3/4 (waltz) time. Think Blue Danube.

All together now:

Daaa-da-da-da-daaa
Da-deda-da-da-da-da-daaa....

<ad nauseum>

I used to spend a lot more time than the 30m-1hour figure. I tend to do 2 hours at a shot, 2-4 times a week. Often, this also involves outside research before posting.

Hang in there vegascat, straybow
CotI is our international geek support network!
Perhaps we could hold a national Traveller support group/ festival down on North and Beaufort Streets in downtown Normal, IL where it all started. Right up until around 2003 the GDW sign still hung where it all started.

I Confess! I Confess! I got my first CT LBB's by buying a huge pile of them from a distraught gamer at a LA sci fi convention for only $20.00[ his character had been killed off]. When I saw him the next day and he wanted to buy them back I pretended not to have any idea who he was...I'm so ashamed.....

I've bought and sold whole Traveller collections off, about three times. But since it is so rare nowadays, I only sell off spares.

I spend about a half hour a day here, mostly reading posts.
