I don't think I have seen this addressed in Traveller --at least not CT or Mega-Deth Traveller but how are the Vilani physically different from Solomani, Zhodani or even Syleans?

Was this ever addressed in any supplement?

Was there any indication that they were transplanted Persians or Babylonians?

V&V mentions different tooth count than Solomani or Zhodani.

Different blood types are presumeable. (Zhodani have A, B, M, and N as well as the Rh +/-; O is the lack of ALL 4; it would be safe to assume some additional blood factors in the vilani populations)

Different aging rate. (Pure Vilani recieve either a +4 or +5 to aging saves Joe Normal could thus last to be well over 100; 130+ YO PC's are not unheard of).

Different daily cylcle: Awake 22 hours, asleep 10, or so, often with a short nap mid-day.

Culturally, tho, they differ further...
Each character gets a specialty: 2 skill reciepts can be switched from rolls into 1 level of the specialty. In cascades, each cascade group gets a specialty; all the others must be equalized to each other, and the specialty must be higher, before the non-specialties can be raised again.
