SOC-9
On our first Traveller T20 adventure, my group had to 'liberate' the holdings of the Marquesa de le Varsh. A childhood sweetheart of one of my players (the Count). They ran into trouble and here is the song that the Count made up to remember it by. It is done to the tune of Gilligan's Island theme song.
The Marquese's Song
Now set right back and hear a talke,
a tale of a fateful trip.
It satrted from a tropic world,
aboard a lent starship.
The pilot was a colege man,
the miner brave, but crude.
So they set off to right a wrong
on a three month tour,
a three month tour.
The pirates started getting rough,
the lent starship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew,
the nobles would be lost,
the nobles would be lost.
They've run aground
on this icy world.
Close to a habitable dome.
Hoping to earn lots of loot,
to build a new ship home.
Its big Lothar
The Pilot, too.
The noble Count (and his friend)
the Engineeer
The Belter AND Barbarian
Here on Marquise's World!
ta do do dooo, ta da da daaa.....
