Terran Dawn Campaign Guide [CHAPTERS]

Sturn

SOC-13
Now that I have a huge pile of research books pulled out of my underworld library (shelves in the basement), I've been thinking of what I need to gleen from them:

History: Both text and timeline histories of the Solomani Rim and surrounding areas. Perhaps a, "what a player knows" hand-out. Would like to include, "historical maps".

Gazeteer: Star maps, world UWPs, world text descriptions of important worlds.

Organizations: Interstellar governments, corporations, large or famous merc units, etc.

Library Data: Alphabetical library entries that apply to the Solomai Rim or adjacent areas during this periods. Most from other sources, some new. Some data here is duplicated in other chapters (such as the Old Earth Union detailed in organizations), but the library entry will be just a paragraph at most.

Stuff: Primarily ships and vehicles of the largest interstellar governments and corporations. Perhaps if I want to get really detailed I could add weapons such as an, "Old Earth Union X32 Carbine", or "Easter Accord M35 Sniper Rifle". For ships and vehicles, I will slowly add 2D art and deckplans using fractal mapper.

Races: Solomani, Aslan, Acheron, Vegans, Hivers, and other races that might be enountered.

Character Generation: Notes on character generation changes due to the area and time period. A.i. there is no TAS, so you would have to substitute a TAS Membership roll during character generation.

Adventures: Adventure seeds perhaps in the patrons format. Rumors list. Not something I think is very important, but is very Travelleresque.

Anything I'm missing that should be included?

A technology tree for each race? While the TL charts are handy, i like breaking the technologies down for each race, with notes for racially specific items in nonstandard formats- such as durability or size. for instance, your aslan might have nice compact j-drives (1% bonus to size) but they are pigs for fuel and are not very reliable (.5% penalty to fuel consumption and a plus x for malfunctions and/or misjumps). Some people may think its too crunchy to do that and it definitely is not cannon.
