T5SS and allegiance codes - master listing?

The allegiance code expansion from two characters to four is awesome!

Having perused the info on TravMap, I have a question or six.

Is the list on TravMap official? (yes, based on the SS data definition page)

Will the TravMap listing be the main resource, or will there be a definitive list elsewhere?

Will TPTB allow us to add to the list?

If it is possible, I'd like to Alegrab (Allegiance grab) three of them, please! (If I can't does that make it an AleOops? lol)

These are specific to my campaign, but I wanna get 'em while the getting is good. May I please reserve/request/beg/borrow these?

2) VnLP - Varan League of Planets
3) ShWo - Shattered Worlds

Anyway, had to put this out there, since AFAIK nobody else has brought it up yet.

Marc isn't granting licenses yet, so hold on. If you're really interested in that sort of thing, you can ask him. The list on TravellerMap is as official as things get until we see this all start to appear in print.

And thanks. The two character limit was driving me up a wall, and by extending it for allegiance and for sophonts, it opens up a lot of possibilities.

Two other items being experimented with for the T5SS. At the moment, we're discussing an Xb:SSSS-XXXX code, which would allow for the formal designation of Xboat routes (so Regina would have Xb:1810, Xb:1912, Xb:2007), but going back and doing all the existing ones would be a royal pain. And we're using SSSS-XXXX so we can designate Sector and hex, to allow for worlds owned by or routes to other sectors. You will see this already in the T5SS for owned worlds.

I like the split Na codes, don't see the Kingdom of Drinax though is it not official?

Drinax starts out all by itself, so no code. The question to be decided is how big is it when does it get squashed like a grape by the Aslan during the Rebellion.

How do you get the complete T5SS listing, or is this not possible at the time?

The T5SS works sector by sector; so at this point it isn't complete. The current effort is being hosted graciously by travellermap.com to allow for public review and comment.

For example, we could use four digits which inadvertently spell something stupid and miss that fact... But so far, we haven't used DuMb for any polity... or RoCk or HiLl or FoRk.
