Yowza, nearly 50% funded before I was able to get the promo up on TravellerMap.com
I'm in, just passed $10,564.
Bedtime here on the islands and it’s at $13,880 of $15,000 needed so it looks like this is a funding slam dunk.

Pretty much the only stretch goal that I'd like to see is printed copies of the Players' Guide. No expectations, though. I am content with things as they stand and am glad the project is receiving such interest.

I'm on the fence about the physical books. I don't want to miss them but $70 for shipping is awful. I'm a retailer and I may be able to get them through my distributor or maybe not, it's hard to say. Retail discount is a great thing.
One possibility would be for all the Canadians to get everything shipped to one address and then shipped within Canada. Possibly an American address near the border. I'm not sure, there'd need to be a trusted individual to handle it and if there's more than twenty or so backers up here it's getting to where they'd need to get paid so it might not work. Any thoughts?

I am sure we could talk to Marc and have our shipments come together and even better yet we could have them sent to my delbonita US mail address. Lot less shipping and just a short drive for me.

Several reasons.
Skepticism is strong due to the organizational and broken combat issues of T5.0, I do so hope Marc has it together.
It is not really a fully new edition and those who have 5.0 will be getting 5.1 pdf files automatically so some might not be as enthusiastic for another physical copy.
The shipping has caused several to not pledge as yet.
I think I might be able to get the Canadian shipping options better under control for Marc, and I know Marc is actively looking for Eropean Shipping solutions.

I didn't back the first KS, and I'm on the fence for this one. I'd really need to back the KS and get the deckplans as an add on. I think it was included/a stretch goal in the original.

My post is optimistic - with a month to go and a bit of publicity - I note there is not a headline post on Mongoose Traveller forums, SJG forums etc.
If this revised edition can get a similar number of backers it may exceed the original kickstarter.
