Other Traveller systems I've looked at are hobbled by the limitation on hardpoints. Why should everything be a triple turret? Should the mixed laser-sand-missile turret even be allowed?
In QSDS 1.5 you get a lot more options. You can load up on lots of small turrets and have a killer damage potential at short range and good point defense... or you get big 5, 8, & 10-laser turrets that have a longer reach.
You have to really think about your weapon choices instead of just filling out the slots.
