Subspace Velocity

LordVan

SOC-10
A question for those out there who use the TNE system. I was rereading the FFS book and the formula is listed for the velocity of the subspace drive. However it does not says if this is per minute, per hour, or per day. However when I used the formula to determine movement in subspace for combat in subspace, I think I get that the formula is per minute? Can Anyone help?

The formula given in my copy. states parsecs per hour but in actuallity it is up to you. For the alternate drives you set the details how you want for your universe. The figures given are just one example

Strange

I have my copy in front of me and it does not say per hour. I just says V+ (MW/D)x Eff
V: Velocity. Thanks. Yours must be a newer printing or something.

My copy is marked Mk1 Mod 1 (January 1994). Not sure if you have the correct formula. My copy says V = ([MW/D]xEff)x0.1 where V is Velocity in parsecs per hour, MW is power input in megawatts, D is displacement of starship in tons and Eff is the tech level efficiency multiplier.
