Stereotypical Humans

And of course the ever popular "Meat Sack", generally used by sci-fi aliens with exoskeletons or robots. I know it was used in Futurama but I think there's an earlier use, can't recall the story or author though.
"Starchaser; the Legend of Orin," Arthur, the ship's computer belonging to Dag Debrini, uses the term in reference to his owner

far-trader,
Where I recognize the reference is from MIB. It is the giant cockroach's favorite appelation for us, I believe.

"Mostly harmless"

P.S.: We seem to be talking just about Solomani here, right?

This would depend on the viewing race.

Hiver?
Spinward Bipedal Softskin Playthings

K'Kree?
G'NAAAAK! (But redeemable)

Aslan?
Furless Barbarians

Vargr?
Overly-organized, somewhat boring beings from the Rimward from whom we steal

Overall, the most striking stereotype about a Solomani (or Solomani-influenced Imperial) Human would probably be the two contradicting poles of Individualism on one hand and [/I]Empire-Building[/I] (or imperialism) on the other. Recklessness and Opportunism would be two more traits usually attributed to Humans, though these are probably shared with the Vargr.

Humans, especially Solomanie:

Mean, ruthless, hardy and dangerous survivors. The cockroach/wolverine crossbreed-equivalent of the Galaxie.

There should be something in here about our breeding habits. Has anyone else noticed we seem to outnumber the other species COMBINED?

Shame on you with your dirty dirty habits.:nonono:

The Vargr with reverence owe much of their organizational skills to certain humans, too bad they are the band members of Guns an Roses.

From Venus on the Half Shell the stinkers
A slab of smelley meat stuffed into a dirty T-shirt Bender futurama

Probably a great alien stand up line. (as quoted by Blorp the great Bwap comedian to a crowd of vargr) Humans what's up with them they can't even decide weather to have fur or not.

Well, we did have a several thousand year head start on everybody else (excepting those lazy, good-for-nothing Droyne, that is).

I seem to recall reading somewhere (was it "Vilani & Vargr?") that the general attitude the Vargr have towards humans is that we're ... inscrutable. Vargr always have the sneaking suspicion that any humans they meet are generally "up to something;" and whatever it is probably involves complex subplotting, calculatedly obtuse goals, machinelike levels of amoral inter-monkey cooperation, and a resulting payoff that turns out to be only of benefit to the humans involved.

After which, all the Vargr go to jail, while the humans sneak off together to their Secret Ape Hideout for a late night of hors d'oevres, umbrella cocktails, and Stupid Vargr Jokes.

Humans are perhaps the most varied of the Major Races.

Or, as Delenn the Minbari said "Humans are unique. Humans for communities. No other race would build a place like this (Babylon 5) and invite other races."

Humans are a polyglot of ideas and ambitions.

Unpredictably inventive (They did what? That makes no sense, everyone knows you can’t do that – it’s been that way forever.),

Resilient and of indomitable spirit (We can’t exterminate them fast enough, they just keep coming back for more, sir!),

Unrelently curious (All I ever hear is why, why, why???? AAAHHHHHH! If you kids don’t shut up I’m turning this ship around right now!)

Useful, one-size-and –pattern-fits-all design….we can go anywhere (even places our Moms thought we shouldn’t), use anything (Even when maybe we were told not to, especially then actually), and can make anything we can’t find already made (even if we really shouldn’t)
