Ha! Caught sight of this/that at the local Costco just before Christmas...

Questions:
is this a Costco brand... (if so we may get it here in the mother country)
is it real whisky/whiskey or is it that awful stuff the colonials make from bed-springs and dead cows
regardless I have to get one as soon as I can just for the bottle

1- it is award winning and from an award winning distillery no less
2- sadly it is bed-springs and dead cows, but it gets very good reviews
it is for sale via Amazon and my local Whisky shop, and I always get a bottle of American Whiskey for Superbowl night...
it arrives tomorrow.

Thanks for the tip! I was hoping for Traveller-themed jokes, which I don't have, but I can supply my top-10 punchlines for IMTU Traveller jokes:

it is very nice, best bourbon I have tried to date, and I have sampled quite a few over the years...

That would be SpinwardScout's Scout-style jump-aged stout beer, transported in vacuum casks affixed to a starship's hull for at least seven jumps. Typically blends Vilani shekisasaa (hopped beer) with Terran gynizs (stout beer).

Picked up a bottle at the aforementioned Costco - it's surprisingly smooth at a decent price point.
I got a tiki shot glass for Christmas this year, and now I have something to fill it with.
