How were Size/Volume and EP for the Ship's Computer Table on p. 263 derived?

Comparing the Standard Ship's Computers Table on p. 282 appears to show a difference between Volume/Size and EP.

By dividing the Volume/Size on p. 282 by 1350 matches the Size/Volume on p. 263.
Unfortunately, this instruction is not covered in either the Computer Design Sequence or in the text for the Standard Ship's Computers Table on p. 282. Example: The Model/1 computer on p. 282 has a volume/size of 135vl. Dividing 135 by 1350 results in a Size/Volume of 0.1, which matches the statistics for a Model/1 computer in the table on p. 263.

The text for the Standard Ship's Computers table instructs the reader to divide EP by 10 when being installed in a starship. Example: A Model/1 computer on p. 282 is going to be installed in a starhip and has an EP of 9. Dividing 9/10 results in an EP of 0.9. This does not match the the statistic for the Model/1 computer in the table on p.263, which indicates the EP is 0.

From the explaination provided on how the purification plant characteristics were derived I reviewed both Traveller LBB: Book 5 High Guard, 1980, (CT:HG) p. 26 and MegaTraveller: Referee's Manual 2nd Ed. 1987, (MT:RM) p. 81. The computer EP on p. 263 match exactly with CT:HG EP.

Which EP value do you use if you have designed your own Ship's computer? The one listed in the table on p. 263 or the one derived from the instructions on p.282?
