Service Class Enlistment

I need some clarification on a couple of points and somebody to tell me if I have missed something.

THB P124 says "Anyone may attempt to enlist in a service, and if they meet the class requirements or pass the class fitness test they will be accepted."

Does this mean there is an enlistment roll to get into the service classes, I haven't been able to find one. I believe there was something like this in CT.

I take it to mean that if you meet the requirements for the class for that service you can enlist. So, if you are a Rogue class who wishes to follow the Army prior history (Army Intel guy, or whatever) you must qualify for the Army class to take the prior history even if you serve for five terms and take no levels in the Army class.
None of the service classes need a roll to join.

that would be the case, yes.

In a number of the playtest drafts, the service classes did have rolls you could try IF you didn't meet the stat requirements. These were done away with for those classes, though they are still present in some of the other classes.
