Just a thought, but a searchable database for location / PBM / Online games etc. might work better than just posts. It's probably been suggested a few hundred times, but just in case someone doesn't have enough to do I thought I'd float it

Sound like the sort of thing that could be hosted here maybe, in such a way that members can edit their own entry to update current status, with overall moderation as usual.
I'd include entries for GM/Player preference, availability, current status (seeking game, seeking players, no vacancies, etc) type of game (munchkin, mystery, screwball, OTU/ATU, etc.

Pretty much exactly what I was suggesting. It's relatively easy to find a D&D game, but far more difficult to find a Traveller game, or people ready to get together and start one. I have a built in audience with my brother and a couple of the guys from my D&D campaign, but new players / games can't hurt. A site to locate players / games could be very helpful, especially to a group as technically literate as Traveller players (at least I hope we are...).
