"Name's Rrukksa Uerraelaz. And yeah, that's my Corsair in Hangar 2. Well, I want to join the Merchants Hvaek. I want her to go legit."

Vaederrrreng Mercantile Efforts, LIC LJC LVC
“Let Reason Move You”
Vaederrrreng is a multinational and interstellar Corporation with a few orders beneath a megacorporation. Operating in Old Expanses, Meshan, Amdukan, and Antares Sectors, this Company grew from a single vessel of Travellers in 1105 Imperial upwards to an interstellar conglomeration of world governments purchased during desperate times. Corporate (Gov 1) boards rule member worlds hiring employees who become paid civilians and later citizens with tenure. Logistics, raw resources, processed products, interstellar liners, medical and healthcare equipment, information brokerages, and non-weapon high technologies are but a few industries in which Vaederrrreng is invested.

Penitent: "Just a friendly reminder that on the tail of every Doom there is hope."

The Church of the Penitent Doom in Meshan Sector is a distant splinter branch of the Church of the Chosen Ones, the Penitents. Penitents hold that the Ancients uplifted the Vargr as servants of low Charisma, but that the only recourse is to climb that charismatic stair. Penitent Doom or 'Doomers' hold the same views but in a fatalistic worldview of the societies and cultures around them. Dooms are to be endured for what may lie behind them.

Zikh: "You try to get out but you can't. Always one more heist, one more scheme, one more caper for that final payout. I felt needed. Powerful when successful. One might swear off any more hits. But it never lasts. You understand, right?"

Anchorman: "You're tuned into Razfa Net-7 and tonight: an Alliance Naval Foghoks-class Heavy Cruiser has mysteriously disappeared shortly after orders to return to port were transmitted. Commanded by acting captain Lt. Commander Dzughfae Aoeth and worth over MCr700 in Alliance hardware, sophontpower, and support, the Llarrrae Kodh is currently assumed a simple misjump mishap and that the vessel will resurface soon."

AnchorVargr: "In more expensive developments, the Razfa Naval Base, offline since 1125 says that if funds from Opposition Alliance taxes continue, they will reopen to support the Navy by the end of 1129."

Rrukksa: "My first clue that you were intent on hijacking the Úlfhéđnar? Zo introduced you to a runt. The second clue was a paying High Passenger gushing to a runt their sob story, wanting out of the crime business. Every venture begins and ends at a Starport. You want out? You walk away without telling anyone. I was guilty of it myself in declaring I wanted to go legit sixteen years ago aboard a Corsair. I'dve had fewer clues if you had just paid High Passage and kept your mouth shut."

Zikh: "So why are you so bothered on the other end of that laspistol?"

Rrukksa: "That it has to be the Captain of this ship to decide how you get out."

sorry, I have to mention this.

I looked at that picture, and the first thing I saw was a horse. >.<

The muscular forearm looks like a nose and a bridle, especially with the gold uniform bits. The face is a fuzzy head with small ears.

Zo: "But why do you like us, Doctor Arx? And I mean us Vargr. You're not a Julian. And please, don't quote the Solomani Hypothesis or some Tetusu-Dene Scale or anything like that."

Hon. Vaeg: "Esteemed Hierarchs, I have it on record that my team and I have no evidence of Core Computer tampering in what now appears as a claw pointing witchhunt. Your names are on the activations not ours..."

Rrukksa: (whispering) "Which one?"

Zo: "The Senior Technician beside him."

Rrukksa: "How do you know?"

Zo: "Look at them. Everyone here is sweating nervous. Not him though."

Dr. Arx: "See there on the playback of the hearing, just when they start yelling and nearly come to Infighting? Look close. Zoom in even. Gvueg doesn't even flinch. No reaction. Zoom even closer. There. His irises don't dilate or expand. Do you know of any warm-blooded Urzaeng that doesn't care about Charisma, personal safety, or dying? That is not Senior Tech Gvueg."

Rrukksa: "How did you make it up here and make the kill that fast and quiet?"

Zo: "Are you sure you wanna know, Captain? Because once I tell you, you cannot un-hear it."

Rrukksa: "..."

Zo: "I deserved those four life terms in prison without parole. Why? Because I was once a Sister of the Blessed Canicide."

Rrukksa: "Wait. A Murder Nun?!"
