Regina World Map in Imperial Lines #6

FWIW

For what it's worth, Don saw the map in advance. Had he told me something essential was missing, it would be on the map. Don and I are best buddies, if you exclude geographical distance, major political divergences, and ... well, heck, ain't that enough?

No, in all seriousness, nothing I do for Traveller fails to go before others, including maps. I spent many, many years as an "outside kibbitzer" at best. My one claim to "OTU" was Lee's Guide, which was actually designed to SUBVERT the OTU by writing generics for use in any universe. The OTU references were required before GDW would license Gamelords to produce it...and it was STILL subversive.

My current purpose is to support a game I played actively thirty years ago, and on occasion since. Any subversion I perform now is minor...like describing "spin stations" in some detail, and suggesting that they still have a place in the wide space that is Traveller. Major things, though, like my cautionary views on Life Insurance Clones (and especially in regard to the nobility) I have specifically advised are NOT OF NECESSITY canon, and are subject to later denial and re-writing.

Finally, I did skim the very long article provided. There's nothing at all wrong with it, per se, it just didn't add much of use for the purposes. It adds a LOT of detail for those who want it...but may result in conflict with future "OTU" suggestions by its detailed nature.

Um...yes. You're much nicer than me. Or more patient. But then, MOST people are.
