Currently no. However we could hook-up using the AMSN (a MSN Messenger like product that works on Windows and Linux). We had an
online game going for a while, but it broke down due to no-one being
able to attend.

Face to Face sounds good, but not until after the Summer is over. My
mom's been ping-ponging in and out of the hospital (another reason
I stopped online gaming) and she's finally starting to stabilize; so I'm
waiting until that's for certain.

GURPS Traveller is pretty nice, they offer lots of PDF versions of their
stuff (I have 4 or 5). It's all based on Classic Traveller with a few changes. To me the game system isn't really important, as long as
you know Traveller (or want to learn). I use the CT stuff quite a bit
as ideas/background, and also have:

A few T4 pdfs
Classic Traveller CD-rom
MegaTraveller on CD-rom
FASA CD rom
JTAS CD rom

So I've most of it covered. I know GURPS Traveller fairly well, but not
intimately (it's been a while since I've played GURPS) but I tend to be
rules-light. GURPS offers a LITE version too.

If you'd like to get together for an online session, just kick-back find out
what's what and maybe set some things up for the Fall that's okay.

You need a few things to use AMSN:

Get a free Hotmail or MSNLive account
Google for AMSN and download and install your version

Then give me a head's up here and we can decide on a night to hookup.

If you're interested then let me know, just post here and we'll see
what happens.

Also let me know if you play any other RPGs, that sorta thing.

Great news! I'm back in town and am up for a once-a-week get together for anyone that's interested. I've quite a bit of CT material and am slowly building up my new collection of MgT stuff (Yes, yes, i know, pretty similar) and am ready to get started in as early as two weeks. Let me know by PM'ing me or just email me at ufoundbrent <at> yahoo <dot> com. Be sure to put the word Traveller on the subject line to insure i don't mistakenly delete it before reading--i get quite a bit of junk mail, after all.

Starting off with a small group is fine with me (2+ players) and we can build on that. All i require is consistency. Please note, my games are mature-themed. No, no, not sex stuff, but rather, brutal dark and gritty violence can be found from time to time... and yes, even the proverbial kitchen sink can be found zooming your way in my game. Gotta keep players frosty, after all.

Only hurdle i have is that i can't host at this time so if someone will supply the location, i will supply the DM--me. If someone already has a game going and has an available seat, shoot me a PM for i'll take what i can get. Serious Traveller withdrawals going on here.

Well, if I could ever remove the 'Clinical Depression Cuckoo!" tattoo from my forehead, I'd gladly participate. Seems the local Travellers on this BBS would love to interact with me on the boards, but steer clear from me when it comes to meeting face to face.
