I'm actually in Baltimore, and fumbling around for players to join a game. Right now, I mostly play with a group in Laurel, which would be equally inconvenient for both of us, I suppose.
The timing may be an issue. I can only fit one game per week into my schedule, and a good friend is going to be running a limited-duration 7th Sea game, so I'll probably wait until he's done; my guess is that we'd be starting somewhere around the first of the year.
It'll be a GURPS Traveller game, set in the Spinward Marches. PCs will be crew of a 400 dton patrol cruiser owned by a small shipping line engaged in a tradewar with a rival line; however, the management of the two companies are taking it much more personally than the authorities will permit ("Two houses, both alike in dignity/ In fair Verona, where we lay our scene/ From ancient grudge break to new mutiny/ Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean."). We'll be trying a suggestion that I read about, where there will be two sets of characters for the players -- each player will have a "ship's crew" PC, used when those skills will be most important for the evening's adventures, and each player will also have a "marine" PC, used when we're doing sessions that focus heavily on Getting Up Close And Personal While Blowing Stuff Up.
I'm posting this as a reply instead of sending it via PM because I'm open to other applicants in the area, and would like them to see it. Anyone interested may contact me at "misha20002@yahoo.com", and we'll see what we can get together.
