I have a few questions.
If I have a ship that uses it's 1g of thrust to simulate gravity (there is no artifical gravity nor inertia dampers) in a vertical stack ship what happens to this simulated gravity at the halfway-turn around point? On the trip there the crew experiences gravity of 1g due to the thrust of the maneuver drives beneath them. When they turn the ship around and began to de-accelerate at 1g is the crew in free fall, do they still feel a 1g force from the floor of the ship or does momentum cause the 1g of force to shift to the ceiling, pushing the crew into it?
